Our Mission

EarthWatch Ohio (EWO) is a 501(c)(3) organization whose missions is to educate Ohioans on environmental issue and encourage them to take an active role in protecting the environment and promoting sustainability. We fulfill our mission by publishing a free newspaper that is distributed at more than 2,000 locations throughout Northeast Ohio with additional distribution throughout the state. The newspaper is published bi-monthly, printing 50,000 copies per issue.

EWO is a clearinghouse for Ohio’s many environmental organizations. We act as a conduit, collecting and disseminating, in a clear and precise way, important environmental news and happenings, connecting citizens with Ohio’s environmental groups. We provide a venue for citizens to voice their concerns and environmental groups to spread their news to a wider audience.
